Crazy Whaley

It is taking over my days at work! I have been busy before but I don’t remember a time that has been more stressful. After January lay offs there have been major restructuring and many people covering multiple positions. Add all of these shifts together with the fact that my customer base nearly doubled with the unexpected departure of my boss and stress has been the result. I have tried to keep all my customers taken care of with the addition of the phone ringing non-stop and walk up customers who are often home owners. Needless to say I am looking forward to a slower time in the winter. I think my gray hair has doubled in the last three months. One thing has helped me to cope with all this stress. That is the fact that I have been able to talk to my kids on Skype at night. That has been wonderful. We have done homework and talked and laughed and argued. Although it is obviously not as good as the real thing it has certainly eased the pain of not being able to see them every day.
